Once reverse gear is engaged, the sensors scan the distance to the next vehicle, wall or post ultrasonically. The system detects all obstacles within a 120-degree angle, from a distance of 150cm. The driver is given an acoustic and visual warning if there is a danger of collision. Could manoeuvring be safer? |
